5.2 Cleaning and replacing filters
5a.
Cleaning
Remove the filters(A) from the WHR.
Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner: if moist, rinse them clean in
lukewarm water with a neutral soap solution.
Slide the filters back into the WHR.
Press [OK] on the operating panel.
Replacement
Replace the filters once a year.
Remove the filters(A) from the WHR.
Remove the two clips which attach the filter cloth to the filter holders.
You can now slide the filter cloth out of the holder.
The new filter cloth can then be slid into the holder. Fit the two clamps
back on.
Slide the filters back into the WHR.
Press [OK] on the operating panel.
Take care that the cloth is not damaged by the edges of the filter
holder.
When first using the system, we advise cleaning all filters and inlets
as the system may become dusty during construction.
5.3 Cleaning the ventilation valves
5b. for air supply for air exhaust
Remove a valve from the wall or ceiling.
•Wash this in a soap and water solution. Rinse well and dry.
The installer has set all valves for an optimal functioning of the system.
Therefore, do not change the settings of the valves.
Replace the valve.
Repeat this procedure for all valves.
5.4 Cleaning the non-powered extractor hood
5c.
The WK 600 does not have a filter. The labyrinth effect ensures that
approximately two thirds of the grease settles on the inside of the
stainless steel bottom plate and one-third inside the casing.
The bottom plate can easily be removed by pushing the sliders aside.
Clean three times a year.
6. End of lifespan
Consult with your supplier when you wish to dispose of the system. If the
unit cannot be returned to the supplier, do not set it by the trash, but ask
at your local council about the possibilities for recycling of components or
environmentally friendly processing of the materials.
