beltwith70-100Nforcetoseeifitsdeflectionisthespecifiedvalue.Ifthefan
beltisover-tightened,thepumpbearingandthealternatorbearingswillbedam鄄
agedtooearly;ifitistooloose,thenbeltwillhaveslip,andthecoolingeffectwill
godown,hence,theenginewillbeoverheated.

1.Withtheenginerunning,checkifthealternatorindicatorlightandtheoil
pressureindicatorlightareoff.
