Ifairgetsintothebrakehydraulicloop,thebrakingeffectwillgodown.So,
ventingmustbedoneifthefluidlevelisfoundverylowinthebrakefluidreser鄄
voirorthehydraulicloopisdisassembledduringthebrakemaintenance.Vent鄄
ingshallbedonebytwopersonstogether.
Venttheairinthefollowingsteps
1.Trulyreleasetheparkingbrake.
2.Startandkeeptheengineinrunninguntilthevacuumdegreegoesupade鄄
quately.
Ifventingisdonewiththeenginenotrunning,adverseimpactwilloccurtothe
vacuumbooster.
3.Checkthelevelinthebrakefluidreservoir,andaddsomemoreifneeded.
Ventthebrakehydraulicloopinthefollowingsteps.

4.Takeofftherubberhousingfromtheventingscrewandcleanit.Connectthe
ethylenehosetotheventingscrew,andputtheotherendofthehoseintoa
transparentvessel.
5.Repeatedlysteponthebrake,andkeepitsteppedon.
6.Loosentheventingscrew,anddischargethebrakefluidwithbubblestogeth鄄
erintoavessel,andtightentheventingscrewatonce.
