Usingandmaintenanceofleafspring
1.Whenvehiclerunsfor200kmand
500km during the beginning of
break-inperiod,checkandtighten
U-typeboltonleafspringwithspec
ifiedtorqueunderloadbearingstate.
2.Afterbreak-inperiod,tightenU-
typeboltonleafspringwithspeci
fied torque when vehicle is fully
loaded.Doitalsowhenleafspringis
replacedorresetforrunningevery
2000-3000km.
3.TightenU-typeboltonleaf
springwithspecifiedtorquewhenve
hicleisfullyloadedforrunningfor
2000km-3000km.
4.Checkandtightenexposedbolts
andnutsofthesuspension (withve
hiclefullyloaded)whendoingclass-
one maintenance. Check rubber
partsofthesuspension,iftherubber
partsareworngreatly,replacethem
instantly.
5.Whendoingclass-twomainte
nance,carryoutclass-oneitems
anddismantletheleafspringaswell
aslubricatingit,checkthetransverse
stabilizerrodatthesametime.
6.Whendoingclass-threemainte
nance,carryoutclass-twoitemsand
dismantlealltherubberpartsand

Using and inspectionof shockab
sorber:
1.Checktheabsorberfortempera
tureafterrunningacertainlengthon
badroadsurface(usuallymorethan
10km)Thereisnoresistanceifthe
temperatureislow(lowerthanair
temperature)andshockabsorption
doesn'tfunction.Ifoneabsorberhas
muchlowertemperature than the
symmetricalone,thelowerone'sre
sistanceismuchmoresmaller.Low
erresistanceresultfromlackinginoil
orfromdamageofsomeimportant
parts,andtheabsorberthatlackin
resistanceshouldberemovedtoin
spect.
2.Checktheshockabsorberforoil
leakifcontinuousabnormalvibration
isdetectedinrunning.Oilleakshould
bedealtwithintime,sothatthe
shockabsorbercanworknormally.
3.Checkabsorberwhenmaintaining
vehicle.Tocheckabsorber,stickup
itandholditslowerendbyvise,
thenpullandpressitforseveral
times. Normally the resistance is
biggerwhenpulled,otherwisethe
absorberisdamagedorlackinoil.
Repairandreplacepartsandadd
absorberoilintimetoavoidserious
damage.
4.Ifit'snecessarytoreplaceab
sorberrod,replaceoilsealingatthe
sametime.Ifnecessary,don'tdis
mantlevalvepartscasually.
5.Whendoingclass-threemainte
nance,dismantleandcleantheab
sorber,replacetheabsorberoil.Don't
forgetcleaningwhenaddingoil.
