R egulate the radio balance and find out the suspected loudspeaker.
D oes this loudspeaker operate normally?
Go to Step 3. Go to Step 3.

Remove the radio.
Use an appropriate jumper to make instantaneous contact with the 1.5V battery
in relevant loudspeaker circuit.
I s there any bang of loudspeaker?
Go to Step 7. Go to Step 4.

Test relevant loudspeaker circuit for open circuit or too high voltage.
Is the fault detected and eliminated?
Go to Step 10. Go to Step 5.

C heck loudspeaker for poor contact.
Is the fault detected and eliminated?
Go to Step 10. Go to Step 8.

est every loudspeaker circuit for short circuit to positive battery voltage or ground.
Is the fault detected and eliminated?
Go to Step 10. Go to Step 7.

C heck radio harness connector for poor contact.
Is the fault detected and eliminated?
Go to Step 10. Go to Step 9.

R eplace relevant loudspeaker.
I f the replacement finished?
Go to Step 10.

Replace the radio.
Is the maintenance finished?
Go to Step 10.

R eplace the failed system.
D oes the system return to normal?
Go to Step 1. System is intact.
