ventilationdevice,andtheairsuction
oftheventilationsystemmustbeset

Precautionaboutwastegasfrom
engine.
Wastegasdischargedfrom
engineisveryharmfultobody,
and can even cause death.
Therefore,whendischargedgas
issmelledinthevehicle,open
thewindowimmediately.Such
waste gas contains carbon
monoxide, a colorless and
tastelessgas,whichmayresult
insuffocationorevendeath.
Determinethereisnoleak
agefromthedischargesystem
Whenthevehicleisliftedforre
placingengineoilorforother
purposes,checkthedischarge
system. If there is abnormal
noisefromthedischargesystem
orthevehiclebottomhasbeen
hitduringdriving,promptlyhave
the authorized JAC Dealer
checkthedischargesystem.
Donotlettheenginerunina
confinedarea
Theenginemustbestopped
duringparkingingarage.To
preventmovingofvehicle,do
not run the engine in the
garage.
Avoididlingtheenginefor
longtimewhentherearepas
sengerinthevehicle.Ifpeople
aretostayinthevehicleforlong
timewiththeenginerunning,set
theairadmissiondeviceat"
Fresh"positionandsetthefan
speedtohigh,toallowfreshair
outside to enter the vehicle.
Whenthebackdoorcannotbe
closedbecauseoftheloaded
objects,takecareduringdriv
ing.
1.Closeallwindows.
2.Opentheexhaustport.
3.Settheairintakepushbutton
at"Fresh"position,andthedraft
pushbuttonat"Foot"or"Face"
andahighspeedforthefan.

removesnow,ice,leavesorother
substances.
Precautionsbeforestartingthe
engine:
1.Checkalltires,fuel,waterand
otherequipmentofthevehiclethat
mayleadtoanaccident.
2.Checkthehandbrakeafterenter
ingthevehicle.
3.Checkallwindowsandlightsfor
cleanliness.
4.Checktheinsideandoutsiderear
viewmirrorsforcleanliness.
5. Check the positions of seats,
backsandseatheadrests.
6.Lockalldoors.
7.Checkyourfastenedtravelofyour
safetybeltandthesafetybeltsof
otherpassengers.
8.Turnofflightsandothercompo
nentsnotused.
9.Whentheignitionswitchisat"ON"
position,allnecessarywarninglights
shouldoperate,andconfirmthereis
sufficientfuel.
10.Whentheignitionkeyisat"ON"
position,checkthefunctioningofthe
warninglightandthebulb.
Starttheenginewithcombined
ignitionswitch
Forvehiclewithmanualgears,
firstsettheshiftlevertoneutral,and
stepontheclutchpedal.
Forvehiclewithautomaticgears,
settheshiftleverat"P"(parking).
Tostarttheengine,inserttheig
nitionkeyandturnitto"START"po
sition.Theenginewillstarttorun
whenitisreleased.Donotleavethe
ignitionswitchat"START"forover15
seconds.
Warning
Ourvehiclesaremorelikely
tocollisionthanothervehicles.
Thegroundclearanceofour
vehiclehigh,permittingittorun
over small path and other
cross-country ground. Avoid
sharpturnsormovement,as
improperoperationmayresultin
overturning.
Passengersfailingtofasten
thesafetybeltareexposedto
theriskofdeathincaseofseri
ouscollision.
