Beforethevehicleisjacked,the
wheelnutsshouldbeunscrewed.To
unscrewthenuts,turnthenubspan
nercounterclockwise. For correct
operation,setthespanneronthe
rightsideofthewheel,holdtheend
ofthespannerandliftthespanner
withforce.Butdonotremovethe
nutsatthistime,justkeepthenuts
halfloosened.
4.Setthejack
Placethejackbaseonasolidand
levelground.Thejackcanbesetat
thelocationsshowninthefigure.
5.Liftthevehicle
Fitthejackhandleattheposition
shown.Toraisethevehicle,turnthe
handleclockwise.Confirmtheposi
tionofthejackwhenjackingtheve
hicletoavoiditslidingdown.Ifthe
jackisplacedonasoftgroundor
beach,asuitableplateisneeded
andshouldbeplacedatthebottom
ofthejack,toavoidlossofbalance.
Raisethevehiclesufficientlyhighto
allowmountingthesparetire.
6.Tirereplacement

injuryorevendeathintheevent
of the raised vehicle falling
down.Nopassengerisallowed
toenterthevehiclewhenitison
jack.
Howtodealwithanemergency

Loosenthewheelnutsandremoved
themwithhands.Movethewheel
gentlysothatitslidesoutofthe
studsandthenplaceitflattoavoid
rolling.Takeoutthesparetire,lift
andalignitwiththestudstoslideit
toposition.Ifitistoodifficulttoper
formthisoperation,slideinthewheel
gentlytoaligntheupperholeonthe
wheelwiththeupperstud.Then,
swingthewheelbackandforthgen
tlyuntilthewheelcanslideinonoth
erstuds.
7.Fittingthewheelnutsagain
Tofitthewheelcoveragain,place
thenutsonstudsandtightenthem.
Swingthewheelgentlytoconfirmifit
hasbeensafelyfixed,andtighten
thenutswithhandsagain.
8.Lowerthevehicleandfastenthe
nuts.
Lowerthevehiclebyturningthejack
handlecounterclockwise.Tightenthe
wheelnutsbymovingthespannerin
thedirection shown. Never stand
abovethespanneroruseapipeon

Takecaretoavoidinjuryas
thereissharppointsonthetire
cover.Beforeplacingthetirein,
confirmthehubortireisfree
fromforeignobjects (suchas
soil,tarandsand).Suchsub
stancesmayhinderthefixingof
tireintothehubandmaybethe
causeoftirenutloosening,and
mayleadtolossofcontrol,re
sultinginseriousinjuryoreven
death.
