qualityJACvehicles.Topreventve鄄
hiclerustingoverlongtime,yourco鄄
operationandassistanceisrequired.
Commoncausesofrusting
Commoncausesofvehiclerusting
are:
音 Irritatingsubstance,dirtandmois鄄
tureaccumulatedatthebottomof
vehicle.
音 Paintingdamage,ordamageto
exteriorcoatinglayerbystoneor
sand,andsmallcrunchinganddent鄄
ing.
Positionsmorelikelytorusting
Ifyouliveinanareawhereitismore
likelytocauserustingofvehicle,
measurestopreventrustingareex鄄
tremelyimportant.Commoncauses
ofacceleratedrustingincludesaline
dirtonground,dustchemicals,ma鄄
rineairandintrusionofindustrialpol鄄
lutants.
Rustcausedbymoisture
Thevehicleislikelytodeveloprustin
caseofmuchmoisture.Forexample,
high humidity can accelerate the
rusting,especiallyatatemperature
abovefreezingpoint.Inthiscase,
moisturewillcoverthevehicleand
vaporizegradually.Thecauseofsoil
leadingtorustingofvehicleisthat
soilcangraduallydryupandislikely
tokeepamoiststate.
Hightemperaturecanalsoacceler鄄
aterustingofaccessoriesthatcannot
beproperlyventilatedandareina
wetstate.Thevehicleshouldbe
cleanedperiodicallyandhavethe
depositedsoilremoved.Suchforeign

payspecialattentiontothebottomof
fananddevicesdifficulttoidentifyon
profile.Foreignsubstancesmustbe
thoroughlyremoved,andbetteref鄄
fectcanbeachievedbywipingwith
cloththancleaningwithwater.

keepthedoorsillandframecross
beamdrainholesopen.Letmoisture
toexpeltopreventrustinginside.
Keepyourgaragedry
Neverparkyourvehicleinagarage
withmoistorpoorlyventilated.Such
an environment can easily cause
rustingofyourvehicle.
Itwillcertainlyresultinrustingof
yourvehicleandsomeaccessoriesif
youwashyourvehicleinthegarage
orbringsnow,iceandmudintothe
garage.Inthiscase,thevehiclemay
gotrustyevenifthegarageisdry.
Sufficientventilationcancompletely
removethemoisture.
Keepintactpaintedsurfaceand
trims
Asurfacewithscratchshouldbe
mendedwithpaintappliedwhenthe
vehicleleavesthefactory,toprevent
rusting.Incaseofmetalexposure,it
