SETTING THE HOURS AND MINUTES
Pull the crown out to position 1.
Move the hands clockwise until the desired
time is displayed. When the hands are display-
ing times during the night between 8 p.m. and
4 a.m., with what is known as the security zone
in red, you must never:
- Turn back the hour or minute hands.
- Perform a date correction.
When the operation is complete, push the
crown back to position 0.
Special nature of the four-digit year indicator
The year is indicated via four positions. The
display of the year’s first two digits (the centu-
ry) is fixed. It consists of a small two-position
plate, screwed onto the movement, which can
indicate “20” or “21”. The decade display con-
sists of two discs which run through the posi-
tions from “00” to “99” according to the per-
petual calendar mechanism. On 1 January 2100,
the watch will therefore indicate the year 2000
(fixed “20” + “00”). We advise you to wait un-
til 1 March 2100 before submitting your Master
