- rinse the watch with fresh water after use in
sea water.
You may use your watch during short swims,
and when jumping in from the edge of a
swimming pool but not from a diving board.
Your watch must not be used for sports involving
significant risk of impact, such as windsurfing
or waterskiing. Also, note that leather straps are
not suited for aquatic activities.
As a precaution, we draw your attention to the
following two recommendations:
- Do not adjust the crowns in water
- Do not use Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner
watches for deep dives (diving with a gas
mixture, with the diver spending alternating
periods between the water and a pressurised
chamber), or dives to a depth greater than
that indicated.
