2. Adjustments before use

Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps
To ensure that they offer maximum protection, the shoulder straps on
the KOOS safety seat must be set just above the baby’s shoulders. Check
this height with the baby seated correctly in the safety seat.
WARNING Check and adjust the height of the shoulder straps as the
baby grows.
Changing the position of the handle
The handle has 4 positions (2c), each of which has a specific function:
Position 1: Stability. The handle prevents the baby carrier from rocking
when it is on a flat surface.
Position 2: Intermediate position. In this position, the handle is inte-
grated into the casing.
Position 3: Carrying. The position for fitting and removing the seat on
and off a JANÉ chassis or the ISOfix base and for carrying.

•4-position carry handle.
•Removable and washable upholstery.
1. Understanding your KOOS safety seat
KOOS has 3 heights for the shoulder straps. To change the position,
open the cover of the rear compartment.
Take the straps out of the current slot and pass them through the
correct one for your baby’s height.
