DRIVE CHAIN, CON’T.
CHECKING SPROCKET WEAR
1. Remove the engine sprocket cover.
2. Rotate the rear wheel checking the sprockets for damaged or
broken teeth.
3. If there are any irregularities or if the sprocket isworn, replace the
sprocket.
Note: If the sprockets are found to be worn, always replace the
sprockets and drive chain together as replacing worn sprockets
without replacing the drive chain will lead to premature wear on
the new sprockets.
