SUPER STEAM
• The temperature selector (8) must always be set to its maximum position (max).
• Press and release the button (3). Repeat this operation at intervals between each time you press the
button.
• If you wish to obtain a greater super-steam, do not press more than 3 consecutive times after the pilot light
(1) is o.
VERTICAL IRONING
• It allows you to remove creases from the garments without them having to be lying on the ironing board:
jackets and coats may be pressed on their hangers; as may be hanging curtains and such.
• Close the adjustable steam knob (4) and place the temperature selector to the (max). position.
• Bring the iron close to the garment in a vertical position and press the steam button (3).
SPRAY IRONING
• To obtain a spray, the temperature selector (8) position is unimportant.
• Press the spray button (2). In case no water should come out, press the button again.
DRY IRONING
• If there is water in the tank, set the adjustable steam knob (4) to the o position (O).
• Plug the iron into the mains and place the selector (8) in the desired temperature for each fabric:
- FIBRAS SINTÉTICAS: SINTHETIC FIBRES: Low temperature (•)
- SEDA – LANA: SILK – WOOL: Medium temperature (••)
- ALGODÓN – LINO: COTTON – LINEN: High temperature (•••MAX)
AUTO-CLEANING SYSTEM
• For a better result and a longer life of the iron, it is advisable to clean at least once a month.
• Set the adjustable steam knob (4) to the o position (O).
• Poor water in the tank till the middle of its capacity.
• Set the temperature selector (8) to MAX position and plug the iron to the mains.
• As soon as the indicator light (1) is o, place the iron in a horizontal position on a plate or suitable container
in the sink and remain pressed the auto-cleaning (7) button. The steam and drops of water will begin to ow
from the orices in the base of the iron draining the dirt and particles.
• Move the iron smoothly till the water tank is empty.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance ensure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
• The sole plate can be cleaned with a cloth soaked with vinegar. This whole operation is more easily carried
out when the sole plate is warm.
• The exterior parts of the iron may be cleaned with a slightly dampened cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the
appliance.
• To store the iron, ensure there is no water left in the tank, set the steam control to the o position and always
store in a vertical position.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
