A.2 Ist-Situation
Entfernen Sie das Originalradio gemäß Anleitung des Fahrzeugherstellers aus
dem Radioschacht, damit Sie den rückseitigen Anschluss erreichen können.
Entfernen Sie die Original Fahrzeugspezifische Steckverbindung. Den passenden
Radio-Adapter für Ihr Fahrzeug (wenn erforderlich), können Sie über
www.carhifi-onlineshop.com ermitteln.
Beschreibung Fahrzeugspezifischer Adapter
Der Fahrzeugspezifische Radio-Adapter (z.B. AD123UNI) ist das Bindeglied
zwischen Radio-Unit, der Original Fahrzeugverkabelung und dem JAYKS
Verstärker. Er ist so konfiguriert, dass alle Funktionen der Lenkrad-
Fernbedienung vollständig erhalten bleiben.
Der Radio-Adapter ist darüber hinaus mit den für die JAYKS Verstärker
erforderlichen Verbindungen 1. ISO-Lautsprecher Stecker / Buchse (braun)
sowie 2. ISO-Strom (gelb | rot | schwarz) ausgestattet.
Letzterer kann auf zwei Arten konfiguriert werden (Bilder
2.1. & 2.2):
Strom ohne ISO-Stromadapter (Bild 2.1)
Bei dieser Variante (Typ A) sind am Radio-Adapter, z.B.
bei einem AD123UNI, drei separate Kabel-Verbindungen
– rot (12V Dauerstrom) – gelb (12V Dauerstrom) &
schwarz (Masse) – herausgeführt. Je nach
Fahrzeugmodell wird entweder die rote (i.d.R. bei Ford-
Modellen) oder die gelbe Verbindung (andere
Fahrzeuge) benötigt, um die Spannungs-Versorgung zum JAYKS Verstärker
herzustellen.
Wir empfehlen zur Überprüfung im Vorfeld eine Messung rot bzw. gelb gegen
Masse.
A.2 Situation as it is:
Remove the original radio from the radio slot according to the vehicle
manufacturer's instructions so you can reach the terminals on the back side of
the radio. Unlock the connector by pressing together or pulling it and remove it.

Description vehicle specific adaptor
The particular radio adaptor (e.g. AD123UNI) is the essential link between radio-
unit, the original car harness cable and the JAYKS amplifier. It is configurated as
all functions of the steering-wheel remote remains primary.
Furthermore the radio adaptor is equipped with the required connectors for the
i-soamp amplifier, especially ISO speaker connector (brown) and ISO harness
(black). The last one can be configurated in two
different ways (pics 2.1 & 2.2):

At this alternative the radio adaptor, especially the
AD-123UNI, has three separate cable-conncectors
(red – 12V permanent | yellow – 12V permanent |
black – ground).
According to the car model the red cable (only Ford
cars) or the yellow one (other car models) will be required, to supply the JAYKS
with power.
We recommend a check for preparation a DC-Test as follows: red or yellow
against ground.
