A5.3 Radio-Adapter Typ A (z.B. AD123UNI – Bild 5.3)
1. Fahrzeug-Kabelbaum vom Radio lösen und Adapter (Typ A) mit Kabelbaum
und Radio verbinden.
2. Steckverbindungen gelb & schwarz des JAYKS Kabelbaums
mit den separat herausgeführten Anschlüssen gelb (rot) und
schwarz des Radio-Adapters
direkt verbinden.
3. Wichtig: Der mitgelieferte ISO-Stromadapter hat hierbei
keine Funktion und wird nicht verwendet.
HINWEIS: Sollte der 5DX bei ausgeschalteter Zündung nicht einschalten, muss
die gelbe mit der roten Steckverbindung des ISO-Stromsteckers getauscht
werden.
Die korrekte Zuordnung ist im Zweifelsfall mit einem Voltmeter zu testen. Die 1-
polige Kupplung (rot oder gelb) an der bei ausgeschalteter Zündung +12V
Spannung gegen Masse gemessen wird, ist mit dem gleichfarbigen 1-poligen
Stecker des JAYKS Kabels zu verbinden.
A.6 Direkter Anschluss an die Auto-Batterie
JAYKS Verstärker müssen u.U. direkt an die Fahrzeug-Batterie angeschlossen
werden. Insbesondere dann, wenn die Spannungs-versorgung über den
mitgelieferten ISO-Stromadapter bzw. optionalen Fahrzeug
spezifischen Radio-Adapter nicht ausreicht.
i-sotec empfiehlt hierbei die Verwendung des optional
erhältlichen 12V Stromanschlusskabels AD125.
Wichtig: Vor dem Anschluss des JAYKS Gerätes an das 12V
Bordnetz Ihres Fahrzeuges, muss die Fahrzeugbatterie
abgeklemmt werden! Danach:
1. Das Stromanschlusskabel (AD125) im Fahrzeug so verlegen, dass das
Kabelende mit den Adaptersteckern (rot & schwarz) am Ende des
JAYKS Kabelbaums und das andere Ende in der Nähe der Autobatterie liegt. Das
Kabel sollte möglichst knickfrei verlegt werden. Kontakt mit scharfkantigen
Blechteilen ist zu vermeiden, die Verwendung von Gummi-Durchführungen wird
empfohlen.
A5.3 specific radio adapter type A (e.g. AD123UNI – pic. 5.3)
1. Separate the car harness cable from the radio and connect the adaptor type
A with the cable harness and the radio
2. connect the 1-pin couples (yellow & black) of the
JAYKS cable harness with the separate plugs red/ yellow
and black of the radio adapter directly
3. Important: The equipped ISO power adapter is without
function and remains unused
HINT: Maybe you must change the yellow with the red cable of the ISO power
plug, if the JAYKS 5DX does not switch on.
In case of doubt, the correct assignment can be checked with a voltmeter. The
1-pin coupling (yellow or red) at which one measures against ground even with
switched off ignition +12V voltage, is to be connected to the corresponding 1-
pin plug
A.6 Direct connection to the car battery
Under certain circumstances, the JAYKS amplifiers must be connected directly to
your car battery. This is due to the cases if there is any trouble
with covering the power requirement of the JAYKS amplifier
with the supplied ISO power adapter or respectively the
specific radio adapter. In these cases JAYKS recommends using
an optional available JAYKS power-connector-cable AD125.
Important: Before connecting the device to your car 12 V
electrical system, be sure to disconnect the battery!
Thereafter:
1. The power connector cable (AD125) must be run within the vehicle so that
the end of the cable with the adapter plug is located at the end of the JAYKS
cable harness and the other cable end near the car battery. It is important to
ensure that the cable is run without kinks. Avoid contact with sharp edged metal
parts; rubber grommets are recommended.
