1. Park the machine on solid, level ground with the
upper structure parallel to the undercarriage.
2. Make the machine safe.
3. Hold the handrail with both hands, then use the
step between the top and bottom steps to climb
onto the top of the undercarriage. Keep three
points of contact with the machine at all times.
4. Keep hold of the handrail and use the steps on
the toolbox to climb up to the top of the upper
structure. Keep two points of contact with the
machine at all times.
