1. For fi rst ti me programm i ng, press and ho ld
the two outer Homelink buttons re l eas i ng on ly
when the Home link i nd i cator li ght beg i ns to
fl ash after 20 seconds . (Do not perform th is
step when programm i ng the add iti ona l
Homelink buttons)
2. Pos iti on the hand-he ld transm itter 1-3 i nches
away from the Home link surface (located on
your vi sor. overhead conso le or mi rror) keep i ng
the Homelink i nd i cator li ght in vi ew .
3. Us i ng both hands , si mu l taneous ly press and ho ld
both the des i red Homelink button and hand
he ld transm itter button. DO NOT re l ease unt il
the Homelink i nd i cator li ght fl ashes sl ow ly and
then rap idly. When the i nd i cator li ght fl ashes
rap idly, both buttons may be re l eased. (The rap id
