Although this unit has been charged with refrigerant, additional refrigerant charge is required depending on
total piping length for the system.
Determine additional quantity of refrigerant required according to the following procedures, and charge it into
the system. Record the additional refrigerant quantity to facilitate future maintenance and servicing.

When refrigerant is recovered or charged due to repairs, operating, or adjusting the unit, record the
refrigerant quantity again.
Record the refrigerant charge amount on the nameplate attached to the reverse surface of the
service cover as well.

Ensure that the total additional charge

does not exceed the maximum additional refrigerant charge
quantity as shown in the table below.
