INTRODUCTION
The L-Series water-cooled self-contained units are
split and shipped in three segments, allowing for ease
of handling and transporting in a freight elevator or to
fit through a 36-inch doorway, for example. This man-
ual guides the installer in the reassembly of the three
sections based on the cabinet size. Medium cabinet in-
structions apply to models 050 and 060
The unit is assembled and tested at the factory prior to
shipment. The sections re then separated for shipment.
The three segments include:
• Compressor/condenser/coil section
• Control and supply air fan section
• Filter section
Place the sections on dollies or a hand pallet truck to
make it easier to maneuver and position the sections
for assembly. Ensure the dollies or pallet truck is posi-
tioned to support the unit by the perimeter base frame
and not the bottom pan. Failure to do so could result in
damage to the bottom of the unit.
PARTS
The following parts ship in the box of loose parts.
Table 3 on page 13 lists the parts that ship loose
with the fan compartment. Locate the box in the fan
compartment behind the pressure seal door beneath the
control compartment.
Table 4 on page 14 lists the parts that ship loose with
the filter section.
