TRIP MESSAGES
TRIP: Power Failure
This message occurs when there is a power interuption
and the power has been restored, reset the unit to allow
a start command.
TRIP: PLC program Fault (refer to codes)
Refer to the alarm history screen for specific codes.
Contact factory support for further assisance.
Emergency Stop
This message is diplayed when the emergency stop
button has been pressed.
Primary Motor Starter Interlock Fault
This mesaage is generated when the run interlock sig-
nal was lost during the last run.
Primary Motor Excess Starts in 24 Hour Period
This message is generated when the unit has occurred
excessive starts in a 24 hour period. A wait period is
required prior to starting the unit.
Primary Motor Starter Fault Contact
This mesage is generated when the starter has indicated
an unsafe condition or hte chiller has tripped, refer to
the starter fault log for additional details.
Primary High Pressure Cutout
The contacts of the Primary Compressor High Dis-
charge Pressure Cutout Switch (PSHH-113A, located
in the discharge line of the primary compressor) has
opened because it detected a pressure greater than 180.0
PSIG. The contacts will automatically close when the
discharge pressure decreases to less than 120.0 PSIG
and the unit reset button pressed.
Low Chilled Water Flow
This message is displayed if the evaporator water flow
is less than the recommended minimum and there is a
danger of freezing. The unit has tripped.
TRIP: Primary Motor Lubrication Required
This message is generated to notify the motor is requir-
ing lubrication within 200 hours.
TRIP: Communications Fault with Slot 1 - Slot 11
This messaage is generated when the PLC I/O rack
has detected a communications fault to one of the I/O
cards. Inspect or replace the indicated I/O card.
SECONDARY TRIP MESSAGES
Economizer Motor Starter Interlock Fault
This mesaage is generated when the interlock signal
was lost during the last run.
Economizer Motor Excess Starts in 24 Hour
Period
This message is generated when the unit has occurred
excessive starts in a 24 hour period. A wait period is
required prior to starting the unit.
Economizer Motor Starter Fault Contact
This mesage is generated when the starter has indicated
an unsafe condition or hte chiller has tripped, refer to
the starter fault log for additional details.
Economizer Compressor Thrust Switch Trip
This message is generated when the Economizer Com-
pressor thrust bearing position decreases, it comes in
contact with the probe, causing the break-away probe
to detach, exposing the pressure switch to the pressure
inside the compressor. A set of normally closed con-
tacts inside the switch open when the switch is exposed
to a pressure greater than 15 to 25 PSIG.
