TAG BASED ALARMS
5 Volt Supply Out of Range
This message is generated when the 5 volt supply is
outside the recommended range.
5 Volt Supply Very Low
This message is generated when the 5 volt supply is
below 4.0 volts.
5 Volt Supply Very High
This message is generated when the 5 volt supply is
above 6.0 volts.
Primary Motor Current Out of Range
This message is only applicable to Electro Mechanical
starter applications, and occures when the 4-20mA is
out of range, check wiring loop.
Subcooler Level Sensor Out of Range
The Subcooler Level Sensor is indicating a voltage that
is less than 0 V, or greater than 5 V. This is outside
the normal operating range of the level sensor. This is
generally indicates a defective sensor, or miscalibrated
sensor board.
Economizer Level Out of Range
The Economizer Level Sensor is indicating a voltage
that is less than 0 V, or greater than 5 V. This is outside
the normal operating range of the level sensor. This is
generally indicates a defective sensor.
Evaporator Pressure Out of Range
This message is generated when the evaporator sensor
output voltage is beyond 0.5 to 4.5 volt, possible cause
could be a shorted or open sensor, or miscalibrated sen-
sor board.
Evaporator Pressure Low
The evaporator pressure, as sensed by the Evaporator
Transducer, has decreased to the warning threshold or
27 PSIG. For water cooling applications, the warning
threshold is a fixed value for the respective refrigerant.
For Brine cooling applications, the warning threshold
varies according to the concentration of the Brine solu-
tion. The Brine shutdown threshold is programmed at
the YORK Factory. The chiller can be started after the
evaporator pressure increases to the restart threshold.
Evaporator Pressure Very Low
The evaporator pressure, as sensed by the Evapora-
tor Transducer, has decreased to the Safety shutdown
threshold trip of 25 PSIG. For water cooling applica-
tions, the safety shutdown threshold is a fixed value for
the respective refrigerant. For Brine cooling applica-
tions, the safety shutdown threshold varies according
to the concentration of the Brine solution. The Brine
shutdown threshold is programmed at the YORK Fac-
tory. The chiller can be started after the evaporator
pressure increases to the restart threshold.
Condenser Pressure Out of Range
The Condenser Pressure Transducer is indicating a
pressure that is less than 6.8 PSIG (R134a), or greater
than 300.0 PSIG (R134a). This is outside the normal
operating range of the transducer. This is generally in-
dicates a defective transducer. The chiller can be start-
ed after the transducer is indicating a pressure that is
within range.
Condenser Pressure High
This message is generated when there is a warning of
an impending trip of 180 PSIG.
Condenser Pressure Very High
The condenser pressure exceeded 200.0 PSIG (R134a),
while the chiller was stopped. High temperature con-
denser water flowing through the condenser while the
chiller is shutdown can cause a condenser high pres-
sure condition resulting in loss of refrigerant. This
safety fault anticipates this problem by annunciating
the condenser high pressure condition. The chiller can
be restarted after a Service Technician performs a spe-
cial reset preset procedure.
Economizer Pressure High
This message is generated when there is a warning of
an impending trip of 180 PSIG.
Economizer Pressure Very High
The Economizer pressure has exceeded 200 PSIG
(R134a).
