A few hygiene rules
When designing your drink mixer great attention was given to the European standards of
hygiene. The stirring shaft is made of stainless steel, the head of the mixer is completely
sealed and at the stirring point (agitator) there are no edges or corners where food residues
could accumulate and harmful bacteria could harbour. However, besides the great care
taken by the manufacturer, it would be worthwhile to remind you of the simple and useful
hygiene rules that you should follow.
First of all, for the cleaning of the head of your drink mixer, you should use a damp cloth
and only after the drink mixer has been unplugged.
After each use and also at the end of the day, fill the mixer cup with a little water and dish
washing liquid and stir for a few seconds. Repeat 2-3 times with fresh water to rinse.
In case you use the drink mixer for the mixing of ingredients other than coffee or drinks, for
instance egg, milk or other fatty products, it would be useful to clean the stirring point
(agitator) frequently by filling the mixer cup with a glass of water and a teaspoonful of
chlorine based or other disinfectants and stirring the solution for a few seconds. Never
forget to rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
