uled maintenance. As the small off--road en-
gine owner, you should be aware that Jonsered
may deny you war r anty coverage if your small
off--road engine or a part of it has failed due to
abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, unap-
proved modifications, or the use of parts not
made or approved by the or iginal equipment
manufacturer. You are responsible for present-
ing your small off--road engine to a Jonser ed au-
thorized repair center as soon as a problem ex-
ists. War r anty repairs should be completed in a
reasonable amount of time, not to exceed 30
days. If you have any questions regarding your
war r anty rights and respons ibilities, you should
contact your nearest authorized service center
or call Jonsered at 1--916--383--3511.
WAR-
RANTY COMMENCEMENT DATE:
The war-
ranty period begins on the date the small of f--
road engine is purchased.
LENGTH OF
COVERAGE:
This war r anty shall be for a peri-
od of two years from the initial date of purchase.
WHAT IS CO VERED: R EPAIR OR RE-
PLACEMENT OF PARTS.
Repair or replace-
ment of any warr anted part will be performed at
no charge to the owner at an approved Jons-
ered servicing center. If you have any questions
regar ding your war r anty rights and responsibili-
ties, you should contact your nearest authorized
service center or call Jonsered at
1--916--383--3511.
W ARRANTY PERIOD:
Any
war r anted part which is not scheduled for re-
placement as required maintenance, or which is
scheduled only for regular inspection to the ef-
fect of ”repair or replace as necessary” shall be
war r anted for 2 years. Any warr anted par t which
is scheduled for replacement as required main-
tenance shall be w ar ranted for the period of time
up to the first scheduled r eplacement point for
that part.
DIAGNOSIS:
The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor which leads to the
determination that a warr anted part is defective
if the diagnostic work is performed at an ap-
proved Jonsered servicing center.
CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES:
Jonsered may be li-
able for damages to other engine components
caused by the failure of a warr anted par t still un-
der war r anty.
WHAT IS N OT C OVERED:
All
failures caused by abuse, neglect, or improper
maintenance are not covered.
ADD--ON OR
MODIFIED PARTS:
The use of add--on or
modified parts can be grounds for disallowing a
war r anty claim. Jonser ed is not liable to cover
failures of war ranted parts caused by the use of
add--on or modified parts.
HOW TO FILE A
CLAIM:
If you have any questions regarding
your warr anty rights and r esponsibilities, you
should contact your nearest authorized service
center or call Jonsered at 1--916--383--3511.
WHERE TO GET W ARRANTY SERVICE:
W ar ranty services or r epairs shall be pr ovided
at all Jonsered service centers. Call
1--916--383--3511.
MAINTENANCE, RE-
PLACEMENT AND REPAIR OF EMISSION
RELATED P ARTS:
Any Jonsered approved
replacement part used in the performance of
any war r anty maintenance or repair on emis-
sion related parts will be provided without
charge to the owner if the part is under war r anty.
EMISSION CONTROL W ARRANTY P ARTS
LIST:
Car bur etor, Ignition System: Spark Plug
(cover ed up to maintenance schedule), Ignition
Module.
MAINTENANCE STATEMENT:
The
owner is r esponsible for the perfor mance of all
requir ed maintenance as defined in the instruc-
tion manual.
The information on the product label indicates which standard your engine is certified.
Example: (Year) EPA Phase 1 or Phase 2 and/or CALIFORNIA.
This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
Moderate (50 hours)
Intermediate (125 hours)
Extended (300 hours)
