STEP 6 Set firewall of the VDR IF（Router）
The firewall of VDR IF is canceled when shipped from a factory.
Please validate firewall by the following operation of telnet communication from the Server PC of
the VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor.
(1) To communicate by telnet from the Server PC of the VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor, input
as follows on the command prompt screen.
(2) To log in the VDR IF, input user name and password as follows
(3) To set script file of validated firewall, input the “set” command as follows.
(4) Close the command prompt screen, and to validate the script file, restart the VDR IF by
power switch.
(5) To check that the firewall became valid, input the “show” command as follows.
Since the VDR IF is restarted, open the command prompt screen again and check the
firewall after logging in the VDR IF.
If the "18firon.cfg" is displayed in the place of "Current configuration", firewall is valid.
