(2) RF relay cable connections
Preparing tools:
▸ Soldering iron (60 - 80 W)
▸ Pb-free solder
▸ Knife (for coating/ insulation)
▸ Scissors (for the shield)
▸ Tester
Note: When connecting the relay cable between the RF cable (7ZCJD0045) and the transceiver, use
self-fusing tape to seal the connectors and wrap vinyl tape on top of that.
Vinyl tape:
Wrap at least 3 times,
covering each layer halfway.
Antenna tuner
After mating the connectors, seal
them with self-fusing tape, and then
wrap vinyl tape over them.
Self fusing tape:
Wrap at least 5 times,
covering each layer half-way.
Wrap
Coaxial cable
Cut the coating M-type coaxial connector
pply solder
Shield
Cut the shielding
and insulation
First insert this part of
the connector
Next, insert this part.
Center wire
pply solder
Remarks: Do not melt the insulation inside.
Finished
* Finally check the
insulation resistance
between the center
wire and the shielding.
