6.3 BAM alert
This section describes the indications and functions of BAM (Bridge Alert Management).
CAUTION
The ON/OFF of the BAM (Bridge Alert Management) alert function has be set
in the equipment installation. If you need to change the setting, consult with
us or our agents.
6.3.1 Alert state indications
The alert marks are indicated at the top of the screen while an alert is occurring. If there are
multiple alerts, the state of the highest priority alert is indicated.
Priority
Indicates the priority of the alert.
There are two types of priorities shown below,
Warning is an alert with higher priority than
Caution.
W Warning
C Caution
State
Indicates the state of the alert.
There are five types of states shown below.
V Active unacknowledged *Flashing indication
The operator has not confirmed the Warning alert.
S Active Silenced *Flashing indication
The alert sound of the Warning alert has been temporarily silenced by the CAM device
(MFD, etc.).
U Rectified unacknowledged *Flashing indication
Operator's unconfirmed the Warning alert has been restored.
O Active responsibility transferred
The Warning alert management has been transferred to the CAM device (MFD, etc.).
A Active acknowledged / Active
The operator has been confirmed the Warning alert.
Or, The Caution alert has been occurring.
