I. PREPARATION OF THE SEWING MACHINE
1. HOW TO OPERATE THE SEWING MACHINE HEAD
(1) How to attach the needles
Needles used are DP X 17 #14 to #18 (standard
#16). Use the specifi ed needle.
Insert left- and right-hand sides needles as far as
they will go pointing their long grooves

• Use the left hand twist thread for the needle
thread.
• Either twist thread will do for the bobbin thread.
(2) Thread used
Right hand twist thread
Left hand twist thread
Use a new thread which is uniformly
twisted.

CAUTION
:
• Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevents accidents caused by abrupt start of
the sewing machine.
• When replacing the needle, be careful not to allow your fi ngers to touch the blade section of the
center knife.
