1) Turn presser lifting lever

in the direction of

to stop
the presser foot at the position where it is lifted.
2) The presser foot goes up approximately 4.5 mm and
stops.
It returns to the home position by lowering the presser
lifting lever in the direction of

1) Loosen nut

. As you turn presser spring regulator

clockwise (in direction

), the presser foot pressure
will be increased.
2) As you turn the presser spring regulator counter-
clockwise (in direction

), the pressure will be
decreased.
3) After adjustment, tighten nut

4) The standard height of the presser spring regulator is
29 to 32 mm. (Top end of nut

aligns with scale “2”
of presser spring regulator

7. Adjusting the presser foot pressure (upper feed roller) and
the height of the presser foot (upper feed roller)

can be performed by adjusting the position of screw

(in case of
6390-7) or presser lifter stopper screw

(in case of 6390). (Adjusting value at the time of delivery : 13 mm)
Adjust the lifting amount of upper feed roller

within the range of 14 mm or less.
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
