24.1 Troubleshooting and remedies for digital sensors
24.1.1 Possible faults on sensors with JUMO digiLine electronics
Fault symptom Possible cause Remedy
A sensor is not detected af-
ter being connected and is
also not visible for manual
linking (cf. Chapter "Sub-
menu for linking", page 97).
The serial interface of the device
concerned is configured incorrect-
ly.
Check the following serial inter-
face setting:
Protocol:
Modbus digital sensors
More than 6 digital sensors were
connected.
Ensure that no more than 6 digital
sensors are connected to a JUMO
AQUIS touch P.
The voltage supply for powering
the sensor electronics is inade-
quate.
Ensure compliance with the spec-
ifications in the tables for planning
the cabling for digital sensors.
