dition to that described in I) if you are
absolutely certain that the unit is to be
permanently xed, and therefore, the
removal (e.g. for equipment mainte-
nance) of the magnet holder designated
in I) is absolutely not desired, in order
to ensure the greatest possible protec-
tion against unauthorized removal (e.g.
theft) of the device.
Please note that the attachment of
the device by means of this addition-
al means of anchorage cannot be re-
moved without considerable effort! A
disassembly of the machine is thus very
expensive and can cause damage to the
unit as well as to the installation surface.
No liability is assumed for either!
Only use the adhesive supplied with the
product when installing the device with
adhesive! The installation location must
be solid, dry and free of grease, dust and
loose paint etc.
a) Remove the rst protective lm from
the included double-sided adhesive and
press it rmly, without wrinkles, and
ush onto the entire metal surface of
the smoke alarm device.
b) Now remove the second protective
lm of the double-sided adhesive and
press the device gently onto the magnet
holder (Fig. 1b) previously attached to
the installation position according to I).
The adhesive bond attains its final
strength after approx. 72 hours.
