7.6.5 Check V-belt for damage
NOTE
A damaged V-belt will result in malfunctions.
XIf the V-belt is not in a suitable condition, you must only start to use the truck when
the damage has been rectified.
Procedure
• Check the V-belt for cracks, deformation and wear.
7.6.6 Checking the V belt tension
Procedure
• Insert the V belt between the fan V belt pulley and the generator V belt pulley using
a force of 45 N.
It should be possible to insert the V belt approx. 10 mm
7.6.7 Adjusting the V belt tension
Procedure
• Undo the screws (175) and pull the AC
generator until you reach the
prescribed V belt tension.
• Re-tighten the screws.
• Check the V belt tension again and
repeat the adjustment if necessary.
