Troubleshooting the PTX5000 PICs and PIC Cables
Problem A PIC LED lit red indicates a problem with the PIC.
Solution To troubleshoot a PIC:
1. Check the status of each port on a PIC. Look at the LEDs located on the PIC faceplate.

2. Check the status of a PIC, issuing the following CLI command. The PIC slots in the
FPC are numbered from 0 through 2, top to bottom:
