Apply cork grease to tenon corks on all joints for smooth assembly.
Connect Bb clarinet barrel to upper joint or Bass clarinet neck to upper joint.
Connect the lower joint and bell together for assembly.
Connect upper to lower joint, depressing keys to protect mechanism.
Attach mouthpiece to barrel, aligning ramp with thumb register key.
Position reed on mouthpiece and secure with ligature carefully.
Remove reed, ligature, and mouthpiece from the barrel.
Press ring keys to separate upper and lower joints.
Detach the barrel from the upper joint and the bell from the lower joint.
Swab body sections to remove moisture after playing.
Gently wipe body and keys with a cloth, avoiding scratches.
Clean and dry mouthpiece and reed, store reed safely.
Apply key oil sparingly to pivot points for smooth operation.
Avoid excess pressure on keys during assembly and disassembly.
Remove excess moisture to prolong the instrument's finish.
Do not expose instrument to extreme temperature or humidity.
Store clarinet safely in case or stand, away from fall hazards.
