If insufficient foam is produced when the milk is frothed or milk
sprays out of the fine foam frother, this may get dirty. If this hap-
pens, dismantle and rinse the fine foam frother.

 Remove the milk pipe and rinse it thoroughly under running
water.

 Remove the fine foam frother.
T
 Dismantle the fine foam frother into its individual parts.
T
 Rinse all the parts under running water. If there are severely
dried-on milk residues, firstly immerse the individual parts in a
solution of ml water and one dosing unit of JURA milk
system cleaner. Then rinse the individual parts thoroughly.

 Re-assemble the fine foam frother.
E Ensure that all individual parts are correctly and firmly
connected to ensure optimum operation.
T
 Re-fit the fine foam frother on the milk system.
Once the filter cartridge stops working (depending on the water
hardness setting), the E will prompt you to change the filter.
E Your E no longer has to be descaled if you are using the
CLARIS Smart filter cartridge.
E CLARIS Smart filter cartridges are available from specialised
dealers.
