7 Maintenance
To ensure that the Professional Cappuccino Frother works perfectly,
you should rinse it with water whenever you have prepared some
milk.
Your IMPRESSA will prompt you to rinse the Professional Cappuc-
cino Frother 10 minutes after you have prepared milk.
Precondition: CAPPUCCINO RINSE is displayed and the main-
tenance button c lights up.
Place a receptacle under the Professional Cappuccino
Frother.
c T Press the maintenance button.
CAPPUCCINO RINSING, the frother is rinsed.
Preparation stops automatically. READY appears on the
display.
You can initiate the ’Rinsing the frother’ operation manually.
Precondition: READY is displayed.
Place a receptacle under the Professional Cappuccino
Frother.
Open the cover of the Rotary Switch.
c T Keep the Rotary Switch pressed until RINSE appears.
k T Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme item.
C CLEANING
Turn the Rotary Switch until C CLEANING is displayed.
k T Press the Rotary Switch.
CAPPUCCINO RINSING, the frother is rinsed with
fresh water.
Preparation stops automatically. READY appears on the
display.
Close the cover of the Rotary Switch.
