17. Cleaning
Your IMPRESSA features an integrated cleaning program. The clean-
ing operation will take some 15 min.
Original JURA cleaning tablets which are specially designed for
the cleaning program of your IMPRESSA are available at your
authorized dealer. Please note that machine defects or residues
in the water cannot be excluded if you use inappropriate clean-
ing agents.
Once started, the descaling operation must not be inter rupted!
After each cleaning operation the filler funnel for pre-ground
coffee should be cleaned (11).

䡲 Empty the tray (20).

䡲 Insert the tray (20) again.
䡲 Remove the drip grate (19).
䡲 Put a container (1 l, Fig. 11) under the adjustable coffee spout (17).

䡲 Fill in the tablet (see Fig. 14)

䡲 Wipe coffee powder tank with a dry cloth after the cleaning pro-
gram has finished.
䡲 The cleaning operation was completed successfully.
17.1 Cleaning without display request
䡲 Press the Rotary Switch (1) until
FILTER –/⻫ appears.
䡲 Turn the Rotary Switch (1) until
MAINTENANCE appears.
䡲 Press the Rotary Switch (1) to confirm.
