rate AG cannot accept any responsibility for the consequences of
improper use.

it on to the next user if applicable.
The IMPRESSA may only be operat ed by i nst ruct ed persons.

Z Never use a machine which has been damaged or has a defec-
tive power cable.
Z Fo r i n f o r m a t i o n o n w h a t t o d o i n ca s e o f d a m a g e , f o r exa m p l e
if there is a smell of burning, unplug the machine immediately
from the mains supply and contact the JURA service centre.
Z If the power cable for this machine is damaged, it must be
repaired either directly by JURA or by a JURA authorised ser-
vice centre.
Z Make sure that the IMPRESSA and the power cable are not
located close to hot surfaces.
Z En s u r e t h at t h e p o w er ca b l e i s n o t t r a p p ed i n an y wa y a n d
does not rub against sharp edges.
Z Never open and repair the machine yourself. Do not modif y
the machine in any way that is not described in the IMPRESSA
Manual. The machine contains live parts. If opened, there is a
danger of serious injury. Repairs may only be carried out by
authorised JURA service centres, using original spare parts
and accessories.
It is possible to scald or burn oneself on the spouts, on the hot water
pipe and steam pipe:
