5 Maintenance
Your WE6 no longer has to be descaled if you are using the CLEARYL
Pro Smart filter cartridge.
E Once the filter cartridge stops working (depending on the
water hardness setting), the WE6 will prompt you to change
the filter.
E CLEARYL Pro Smart filter cartridges are available from
specialized dealers.
Precondition: The start screen is displayed. The filter symbol !
lights up red (if you are already using a filter and it is depleted).
T Remove and empty the water tank.
T Open the filter holder and remove the old CLEARYL Pro
Smart filter cartridge.
T Insert the new CLEARYL Pro Smart filter cartridge into the
water tank.
T Close the filter holder. It will click into place audibly.
T Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert the
tank.
The machine automatically detects that you have just
inserted/changed the filter cartridge.
‘Open switch’
T Turn the switch to the§ position.
‘Filter is being rinsed’
‘Close switch’
T Turn the switch to the °position.
After 180preparations or 80switch-on rinses, the JURA will prompt
you to clean it.
Non-recommended (e.g. liquid) cleaning agents may contain
substances that could damage the machine or leave residues.
T Use only original JURA cleaning tablets. These are specially
formulated for your machine.
