4 Permanent settings in programming mode
T Press the ‘>’ button several times until ‘4/6’ is displayed.

In the programme item
‘4/6’ / ‘Rinse the milk system’ you can make
the following settings:

‘Manual’: You are prompted to perform milk system rinsing
10minutes after preparation of a speciality coffee with milk.
U
‘Automatic’: The milk system rinsing is automatically initiated
10minutes after preparation of a speciality coffee with milk.
Example:Proceed as follows to set the milk system rinsing to be ini-
tiated automatically 10 minutes after the preparation.

The harder the water is, the more frequently the JURA needs to be
descaled. It is therefore important to set the water hardness accu-
rately.
The water hardness was set when the machine was first used. You
can change this setting at any time.
The total water hardness can be adjusted on a continuous scale
between 1°dH and 30°dH.
