Battery holder

Switch off the unit's power and remove tile power
supply unit (battery pack, A( Power Adapter/Battery
Charger, etc.).
Pull out the battery holder to remove it from the
camcorder.
Insert the battery in the holder, and be sure to have
the "+" marl< visible.
Slide the holder back into the slot until you hear a
click.
NOTES:
See "57_FETY PRECAUTIONS" (_ ,_pg. 2) f_r infonnatior_
on sate handling of lithium batteries.
To avoid losing the batter), arid/or batte O, holder, place
tile camcorder with tile grip side up as shown in tile
illustration when inserting/r_n_oving tile battery,

Erase Protection tab Gear

Open the L(D monitor fully.
Slide EJECT until tile cassette holder opens. Do not
use force to r)pen.
Insert or remove a cassette. When inserting, make
sure tile label is t\lcing outward.
Press PUSH to close the cassette holder until it locks
into place. (lose the L(D monitor.
NOTES:
(losing tile LCD monitor while tile cassette holder is still
open may cause damage to the LCD monitor,
The cassette holddr can't be opened unless a power
supply is attached,
Make sure that the tape is not slack when loading the
cassette. If there is any slack, turn the gear orl the
cassette in the direction of the arrow to take up the
slack.
G,Make sure the Erase Protection tab is in tile position that
allow< recording. If not, slide the tab, Some cassettes
have removable tabs, If the tab has been removed, cover
the hole with adhesive tape,
