• Press _ to rewind, or I_1_ to fast-forward the tape
during Stop mode.
NOTES:
• The can'lcorJer shuts offautomatically after about
5 mirlutes in Stop mode. To turn orl agairl, set the Power
Switch to "OFF'; then to "PLAY".
_i When the Power Switch is set to "PLAY" and the LCD
monitor is operled at arl angle of 60 degrees or more, the
LCD morlitor switches orl arid the viewfirlder switches
off automatical/y to save power.
• The playback picture can be viewed in the viewfinrler
(with the LCD monitor shut), on the LCD monitor or on
a connected TV (_ / pg. _2, _).
• You carl al_,o view the playback picture on the LCD
monitor with it flipped over and retracted.
• lta b/arlk portion on the tape is played back, the screen
may become black. This is riot a nralfunction.
LCD Monitor Brightness Adjustment: Rotate
the Select Wheel (BRIGHT) towards "+" to brighten, or
towards "-" to darl<en.
rt The Bright Level Indicator is displayed under the Date/
Time Display wherl you pkly back images recorded in
Wide Mode (_ v: pg. 2 _).
Speaker Volume Control: SlidethePower
Zoom Lever (VOL.) towards "+" to turn up the volume,
or towards "-" to tUH3 dr)wn the voitlrf/e.
• The Speaker Voh;me Irldicator is displayed under the
Date/Time Display wherl you play back images recorded
in Wide Mode (_ / pg. 2 7).
Still Ploybolk: Pauses during 131ayback.
1) Press _-/11 during playback.
2) To resume nrlrmal playbacl<, press I_/11 again.

S_uttle SeCll'¢hl Allows high-speed search in either
direction.
1) Press 1_- for k_rward or _ for reverse search during
playback.
2) To resume nrlrmal playbacl<, press li_/ll.
• Durirlg playback, press and hold _ or _'_-. The search
continues as Iorlg as you hoM the buttorl. Once you
release it, nomral pk_yback resumes.

chrome or darken during Shuttle Search. This is normal
