If, after following the steps in the chart below, the problem still exists, [)lease consult your JV( dealer.
[ Tlne c_mcorder is a m icrocr)mputer-controlled device. External noise and interference (frrm_ a TV, a radio, i
etc.) might prevent it from functioning prr)perly, h/such cases, first disconnect its power supply unit (battery
pack, AC Power Adapter/Battery ( harger, etc.) and clock battery; and then re-connect it and proceed as
usual from the beginning.
No power is supplied. Tile battery pack has not been attached correctly
(_7 pg. 8).
The battery Dacl< is not charged (_ ; pg. 8).
Tile power supply has not been correctly connected
(_7 Dg. 9).
The power suddenly goes off and
does not come back on by itself.
The battery pack has completely discharged.
Remove the cassette and discr)nnect tile Dower source, then
after a few minutes, try turning the power back on. If it still
does not come on, consult your nearest JVC dealer.
Recording cannot be performed. Make sure tile Erase Protection tab is in tile position that
allr)ws recording. If not, slide the tab. Srlme cassettes have
removable tabs. If the tab has been removed, cover the
hole with adhesive tape (_-7 pg. 10).
Recording does not start.
Tile camcorder Power Switch has not been set to
"CAMERA" ("AUTO" or "PRO"d (_7 i)g. 14).
Animation or Time-tapse is nut
available.
Before recording in the Animation mr)de at the very
beginning of a tape, set the camcorder to the Recording
mode for about 5 seconds, so that the tape runs smor)thly.
Using the Fade-in functirm at this point is a good way to
begin an animated program (_-7 pg. 27).
The tape is running, but there is no
playback picture.
Tile IV has not been set to its VIDEO mode r)r channel.
If A/V connection is used, the TV's VIDEO/TV Switch has
not been set to VIDEC).
Playback picture is blurred or
interrupted.
Tile vide() heads are dirty or worn out Consult your nearest
