Remove the three screws J attaching the main
board. The connector CN601 on the main board is
disconnected from the CD mechanism control board.

Removing the main board (See Fig.11)
Prior to performing the following procedure, remove
the main board.
Remove the three screws K attaching the CD
mechanism assembly.

Removing the CD mechanism assembly
(See Fig.12)
Prior to performing the following procedure, remove
the front panel assembly, the CD player section and
the cassette player section.
When reassembling, securely connect
connector CN601 on the main board to
the connector on the CD mechanism
control board.
