With 2 bus lines
 Set the terminating resistors on the first and last device to 120 Ω and all the others to open
 Connect the shieldings of the RS-485 cables on the parent control unit and connected devices
to connection C (common); connect the shieldings of the RS-485 cables between the devices
to each other
 Max. length between the last two devices is 1,200 m
3.5.1.2 Example of star cabling
The terminating resistor is adjusted either at the DIP switch or the jumper.
 Set the terminating resistor on the parent control unit to 120 Ω and all the other devices
to 4.7 KΩ
 Connect the shieldingsof the RS-485 cables on the parent control unit and the connected
devices to connection C (common)
 Max. length per stub is 100 m
