4.2  Functions with firmware option Access Manager 
All data concerning access decisions is saved in the parent control unit. The control unit is 
responsible for badge authorization checking and triggering access points. 
Access control 
  Authorization check procedure based on badges and time authorization  
  Integrated RFID antenna 
- Triggering of integrated visual and acoustic signal transmitter 
- Slide switch for antenna calibration  
  Triggering of electric strike (doors with electric locking elements) 
  Support for a connected door opener key or door handle contact

Restrictions if the connection is interrupted (offline)

Reduced authorization check based on site keys. The door function is retained, depending on the 
offline parameter settings (see Chapter 4.4.5.2/Page 34). 
  Up to 8 site keys can be saved 
  Logbook for 2,000 events 
  Time zones are not taken into account  
  No room monitoring/balancing and no CardLink functionality  
  No change in fabrication key 
LEGIC 
Reduced authorization check based on segment search keys. The door function is retained, 
depending on the offline parameter settings (see Chapter 4.4.5.2/Page 34). 
  Up to 8 segment search keys can be saved  
  Logbook for 2,000 events 
  Time zones are not taken into account 
  No room monitoring/balancing and no CardLink functionality 
 
When the connection is restored  
Saved bookings and status/alarm messages are automatically forwarded when the connection is 
restored.
