KanguruLock Quick Start Guide 1
KanguruLock v1.0.4.4
Introduction:
KanguruLock allows you to portion off a section of your KanguruMicro
Drive as a secure, password protected drive. The secure drive utilizes
256 Bit AES encryption to protect your data. When the drive is
inserted, the users will be prompted to enter a password to gain
access to the secure portion of the drive. The secure drive will appear
as an additional hard drive when it is unlocked.
When the KanguruMicro Drive 2.0 is removed from the PC, the secure
drive is automatically locked, ensuring your data is safe. In order to
access the secure portion of the drive, a password must be entered to
unlock the drive.
How to use KanguruLock:
1. Insert your KanguruMicro Drive AES into an available USB port.
2. Open the Kanguru2.0 drive in My Computer.
3. Double click the KanguruLock.exe icon to install KanguruLock.
4. Click “OK” when the setup is complete.
5. Double Click on KanguruLock.exe.
6. Click on the “Mount” button to access the secure drive.
7. Enter the password to unlock the drive. (kanguruAES by default)
