How to fix a Kasei Brush Cutter that won't start?
- JJessica BrewerAug 6, 2025
If your Kasei Brush Cutter engine won't start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty or low; if so, fill it with the correct fuel mix (25:1-50). Old fuel can also prevent starting, so replace it with fresh fuel. If the spark plug is wet from too much fuel, disconnect it, let it dry, pull the starter handle 5-6 times to remove excess fuel, reattach the spark plug, set the choke lever to RUN, and then pull the starter. Other potential issues include a clogged fuel filter (clean it), a bent or disconnected fuel pipe (ensure smooth fuel flow), a dirty spark plug (clean or replace it), an electrode gap that's too big (adjust to 0.6mm), or a poor connection between the high tension cable and spark plug (reconnect it).
