Ensure the nib is centrally aligned with the ink feeder for optimal ink flow.
Misaligned nibs interrupt ink flow, preventing ink from reaching the nib slot.
Verify that the nib and ink feeder are firmly seated within the nib bushing.
A loose fit disrupts ink flow, allowing ink only to the feeder, not the nib.
Confirm no gaps exist between nib tines and they are free from bends or damage.
Bent or spread tines from excessive pressure cause ink flow issues and prevent writing.
Apply gentle pressure to the ink cartridge to help pump ink into the feeder if needed.
Keep the ink cartridge attached to the feeder and ensure it is inserted far enough.
Test ink flow by gently skimming the nib over absorbent material or paper.
Gaps indicate nib issues, misalignment, or feeder problems; contact customer service.
To prevent contamination, touch the nib only with gloves or a lint-free cloth.
Do not touch the nib with bare hands, as grease can disturb ink flow to the tip.
