Function
Change display unit
There are different type of pressure unit. Please select the proper unit
depending on application. When changing the display unit, preset value will
be calculated according to the display unit.
Zero point adjustment
This function is to set the display value of pressure at zero when port is
opened to atmospheric pressure. Press ZERO key for more than 2sec in
RUN mode set value forcibly. When the zero point adjustment is completed, it
will return to RUN mode automatically.
Change response time
It is able to set 100 kinds of response time (5~495ms) and if the response
time is getting longer, the sensing value will be more stable.
Change output mode
There are 4 kinds of control output modes. (Please refer output operation
mode).
Output response to cable OUT 1 and OUT 2 according to output mode.
-Control output 1 : Black cable (OUT1)
-Control output 2 : White cable (OUT2)
Analog output status display
The output of the pressure sensor is indicated by flashing of 2 LEDs.
- OUT 1 is ON, LED 1 will be ON
- OUT 2 is ON, LED 2 will be ON
Real time display
When advance to Parameter setting mode, if the setting value is changed,
the output will change according to the changed value.
Automatic RUN mode reset
When changing unit, set unit by using UNIT key and it will return to RUN mode
automatically after 1sec.
When advance to Parameter setting mode, if any key is untouched for over
10 sec, it will return to RUN mode automatically.

Overview

The KTD-600 series is a Digital Pressure Sensor Switch manufactured by KCC Co., Ltd., specializing in pneumatic and hydraulic components. This device is designed for precise pressure control in various applications, including semiconductor manufacturing lines, medical equipment, and automation lines.

Function Description:

The KTD-600 series offers comprehensive pressure sensing and control capabilities. It can indicate both positive and negative pressure, making it versatile for different system requirements. A key feature is its one-touch zero adjustment function, which simplifies calibration by allowing users to set the display value to zero when the port is open to atmospheric pressure. This adjustment can be forcibly set in RUN mode by pressing the ZERO key for more than 2 seconds, and the device automatically returns to RUN mode upon completion.

The device supports independent 2-channel outputs, which can be configured according to user settings. It utilizes a high-precision semiconductor pressure sensor, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements. The compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for integration into various systems where space and weight are critical.

Users can change the display unit to suit their application, with preset values automatically calculated based on the selected unit. The response time is adjustable, offering 100 different settings from 5 to 495ms. A longer response time contributes to more stable sensing values.

The KTD-600 series provides four distinct control output modes (Mode 0-3), allowing for flexible control logic. In addition to control outputs, it offers analog output modes (0-6 for KTD-600 and 0-4 for KTD-600V), providing a continuous voltage signal proportional to the pressure. The status of the analog output is indicated by flashing LEDs.

The device features a real-time display, where changes made in the parameter setting mode are immediately reflected in the output. It also includes an automatic RUN mode reset function; if any key is untouched for over 10 seconds during detail setting, the device automatically returns to RUN mode. All setting values are saved even when power is off.

Usage Features:

The KTD-600 series is designed for ease of use and flexibility. The front panel features a 3-digit 7-segment red display for detected pressure, setting values, and error messages. A red LED indicates negative pressure. Output status is shown by two LEDs (OUT1 and OUT2).

  • EDIT Key: Used to enter parameter setting mode or preset to RUN mode.
  • UP/UNIT Key: In operating mode, it selects the unit; in setting mode, it adjusts the setting value upwards.
  • DOWN/ZERO Key: In RUN mode, pressing for more than 2 seconds performs zero adjustment. In setting mode, it adjusts the setting value downwards.

The device supports various mounting options, including angle bracket (wall and floor attachment), floor attachment, wall attachment, and side wall attachment. A panel holder bracket and stopper are provided for panel mounting.

Maintenance Features:

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, several precautions and maintenance guidelines are provided:

  • Fluid Compatibility: Use only air and non-corrosive gases. Flammable and corrosive gases can cause explosion and corrosion.
  • Pressure Limits: Applied pressure must not exceed the proof pressure.
  • Power Supply: Do not supply power outside the rated range.
  • Wiring: Insulate unused output wires to prevent accidental connection. Avoid misconnection of wires. Do not connect with high voltage or power wires to prevent malfunction due to noise.
  • Environmental Protection: Keep the device dry from water, oil, and organic solvents.
  • Physical Handling: Do not apply excessive force on the cord and connector, or pull them.
  • Installation: Read the product assembly and installation instructions carefully before assembly.
  • Accessories: Check all accessories against the list before use.
  • Regular Zero Adjustment: Performing zero point adjustment regularly can lead to more accurate detection values.

The device also includes error displays (HI, Lo, Er3) to help diagnose issues. "HI" indicates pressure exceeding the upper display range, "Lo" indicates pressure below the lower display range, and "Er3" suggests an external pressure issue during zero point adjustment. Corresponding remedies are provided, such as applying pressure within the display range or retrying zero adjustment after removing external pressure.
