10.8.2 Installing the back-up battery in the KeTop
Preconditions
z No connection to the mains power supply
z Connection slot of the KeTop open
z KeTop connecting lead plugged into the connection slot
Installation
Proceed as follows to install the back-up battery in the KeTop:
1) Insert the plug of the connecting lead into socket S28 BATTERY in
the connection clot of the KeTop (the plug cannot be inserted incor-
rectly!).

2) Insert the back-up battery into the connection slot as shown in the
figure. The screw heads serve to locate the back-up battery holder.
3) Position the connecting lead of the back-up battery so that it cannot
be pinched when the connection slot cover is fitted again.
4) Fit the connection slot cover, paying attention that no cables are
pinched.
The back-up battery is now installed in the KeTop.
